Featuring Queen Victoria Bust and seated Hibernia on Harp
The coins have been made in Birmingham UK in 2001, using old coining techniques, near the site of Matthew Boulton’s Soho Mint.
Some of these pattern pieces  are featured in ‘UNUSUAL WORLD COINS’ catalogue by Colin Bruce, Krause Publications.
They are retro-dated 1887 so as not confuse collectors.  The workmanship is outstanding especially on
the bust of Queen Victoria
